Welcome Back!
by Joan Barry
If you have recently returned from the Northeast or Upper Midwest, you are well aware that summer was over as Labor Day approached. The days were warm, but nights chilly. Schools have reopened. Winter clothes adorn the racks of stores and tinges of color are beginning to dot the landscape.
Upon landing at T.I.A., the first blast of 90 degree temperatures and high humidity, remind you that our summer will not end for another month, or two, or maybe three, even though the calendar show that autumn arrived on 9/22.We welcome everyone back to CARES Musunuru Enrichment Center. Stop by and pick up a copy of The Leader.
We’d love to hear about your travels and update you on what’s being offered here at the Center for the fall and winter. We will have something for everyone, whether it is a class, dance or exercise. It’s a wonderful time to join one of our art classes - drawing, watercolors, oil, or acrylics and record some of your memories while they are still fresh in your mind. Plan to attend our Open House on Saturday, Oct. 24th to learn more about CARES programs and services. Find out more about our Enrichment Center, and let us know if you have an idea for a class or activity.
Volunteer opportunities await you in the office, café, or helping at Special Events. This is your Center. Come often, bring a friend and enjoy lunch. We are here to serve you and your needs.
