Introducing

Clark Parry


Clark Parry comes to CARES from multiple careers in public service.  His undergraduate degree is in Elementary Education from The State University of New York at Plattsburgh.  He taught 6th grade and 4th grade at South Lewis Central Schools, Lowville Academy and Central School and West Valley Central School.  He served as coach, student council advisor, president of the teachers association, and National honor Society Advisor

In 1988 he left 12 years of teaching behind to attend Pittsburgh Theological Seminary.  After a three year masters program he took the position of pastor at the Franklinville Presbyterian Church, Franklinville, NY.  He served there from 1991-1998.  He returned briefly to teaching and then retired from West Valley Central in 2004.  He and his wife Lucinda moved to Florida to pursue their music business The Allegheny Mountain Dulcimer Players, and to begin their 501 (c) 3, Allegheny Mountain Ministries.  They reside in Tanglewood 55+ Community in Holiday.  Clark’s mom still winters here in Florida in the Tanglewood Community.

Clark is the secretary of the Men’s Association at Tanglewood.  He also serves as President of the Welsh American Society of the Suncoast.  He looks forward to being here at Rao Musunuru, M.D. Enrichment Center and encourages everyone to stop in and visit about ideas on programming, activities, events or anything else that may be on your mind.
