Thanks to everyone who made the Health & Wellness Fair a great success. About 200 people came to the event sponsored by CARES and Congressman Gus Bilirakus. It was a wonderful event and we hope to do it again in the future.
We are always looking for new volunteers, and want to invite those of you who may have volunteered in the past to come back to CARES. We have many of the programs from the past still going on, and many exciting new programs and events.
We have a Music Jamboree on Thursday afternoon from 3 to 6 p.m. Don’t miss the ice cream social on July 10. Please call in a reservation.
Also, if you would like to see a class or program offered, or are willing to present a program or class, please call me or stop in at the Center Office and visit with me about your ideas. We have great plans for an inter-generational program this fall with the Pasco Education Foundation. If you have some ideas about the arts in education and the active senior community, please share them with me.
