Coming Events

Volunteer Holiday Covered Dish - Friday, December 12 in the Musunuru building.  Gary will be supplying the meat dish, bring a dish to pass. Volunteers, please sign up in the office if you are attending.

Yoga - Tuesday, December 2.  $6 in the old Senior Nutrition Site, “upstairs outback” 11:30 to 12:30.  Hatha Yoga is simple and easy to follow.  Mats, towels and kneeling pads are recommended for the class.

Piano Recital and Program - We have been given a wonderful gift of a Baby Grand Piano in beautiful birds eye maple.  It is from CARES Board Member Sue Hamill and her family.  We are planning to have a program to celebrate this wonderful instrument.  Do you know any piano teachers in the area that we might invite his or her students to play for us on some date in February?  Do any of you play and would you be interested in playing for us?  Stop by or call Clark with any suggestions.  863-6868

CARES Yard Sale - Our yard sale is set for Saturday, January 31, 2009.  Tables can be rented for $10 per table.  Start signing up as soon as possible.  All are welcome whether it is household items, or crafters.  Also vendors of such things as Avon, Mary Kay and informational vendors are very welcome to set up.  Stop in to the center to register for your table(s).

Participant Surveys - Participant surveys titled, “Satisfaction Questionnaire: Senior Enrichment Centers” are available.  They are due back in the office by December 12.  They are designed to be anonymous.  Seal your completed survey and bring it to the office.  Thanks in advance for your participation.
