CARES Musunuru Enrichment Center Open House On November 14th, CARES hosted an open house at the newly renovated Rao Musunuru, M.D. Enrichment Center in Hudson. CARES is very proud of the much needed improvements to the center that were made possible by a grant from the Florida Department of Elder Affairs. The open house was attended by State Representative Thomas Anderson, Commissioner Jack Mariano, Clerk of the Circuit Court elect Paula O’Neil, CARES Board Chair elect, Marc Panarisi and board members Leigh Massengill and Phillip Wood, CARES center volunteers and participants and the general public. An informative and enjoyable lecture on “Preventing and Surviving Sudden Cardiac Death” was given by renowned cardiologist, Dr. Musunuru. The lecture was followed by a buffet lunch and “Hands-on Heart Starter” CPR training with manikins. CARES wants to thank all the attendees who joined with us to celebrate the renovation of the Rao Musunuru, M.D. Enrichment Center. |
