A Message from Clark
Many thanks to Don and Sharon Mathieson for putting on a sub sandwich celebration for our summer volunteers. It was a wonderful way to kick back for an indoor picnic in the café.
All the volunteers and staff who were able to attend appreciated it very much. We count our volunteers as very special people. We try to celebrate that often, but we can’t celebrate often enough. So, again, thanks Don and Sharon for making us feel special.
This event was so much fun I’d like to invite all the volunteers and staff to be our guests at the Thursday Music Jam, September 18, for an Ice Cream Social. Just wear your CARES name tag and be admitted free of charge to the jam. (We know who you are if you forget your name tag. But it will just make it easier for the volunteer at the door to know who is who.) For friends who may come along, the Ice Cream is free but we ask a $3 donation at the door for the music jam. Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages are welcome. Please sign up at the office or in the We Care Café so we know how many to plan on.
