A Message from Pat A Special THANK YOU to Mark and Martha Babiarz for providing all the ice cream with toppings as well as the door prizes for the Fourth Annual Ice Cream Social. It was quite a relief to escape the heat and enjoy the cool ice cream. The event was well attended and enjoyed by everyone.
The Hudson Stompers, under the direction of Shirley Taylor entertained the crowd with their Line Dancing Show. It was great to see some of the participants join in on the fun. (Beginner’s line dancing classes are offered at the center every Friday at 10:30 a.m.)
We will be starting up our special events and dinners starting in the month of September. Gary McElfresh will be back for our special catering events and fundraising dinners. Gary’s talent and love for catering and cooking is well demonstrated and experienced.
Our first event, “Sunday Brunch” is scheduled for Sunday, September 16th from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM. There will be a wide variety of delicious food. Come out and enjoy time with your friends and family as you enjoy a great meal. It is a great way to help support Our Center.
We will be hosting a wide variety of dinners and look forward to everyone’s support. Some of the future events will include an Italian night and Western Barbeque. Look for the upcoming events in our monthly newsletter and online calendar.
Other events coming up in October include the Arts and Crafts Show as well as the special Macy’s Charity Event.
