ELFERS TRAVEL IS EXPANDING!            

 The Travel department has been able to purchase another bus, thanks to everyone who supported the Bus Fund. It’s a 30-seater so they can now take bigger groups. Norm hopes many of you will sign up for the April trips, if only to travel in the new bus!

CENSUS 2010        

Census workers will be at CARES Elfers on Tuesdays 9-11am from March 23^rd to April 20^th to answer questions and address concerns about filling out the Census 2010 form. The census mandate was written mainly by 4^th president, James Madison, and takes place every ten years to gather statistics on the US population. The statistics are used to allocate federal services and funding where it is needed the most. So, come talk to a Census representative then fill out your form and mail it to make sure you are included, thus ensuring adequate funding for the local population.
