September 9^th - 11^th – St. Augustine                        

As close to perfect as a trip could get. There was an improved bus (windows tinted, fans to cool back seats), one-hour narrated trolley tour upon arrival, great dinner at Barnacle Bill’s, cocktails, breakfast, trolley stops (churches, college, museums, etc.), scenic harbor cruise, ghost tour,

and a lighthouse visit where a group of intrepid ladies actually climbed to the top!. It was all this and MORE. Non-stop fun. Hope we get to visit St. Augustine again (have already been asked about the next trip!).

 

These four ladies went to climb the lighthouse (219 steps)! Three succeeded but I included all four because at least she tried. More than can be said for me! Congrats ladies. You make us all proud.
