You have more opportunities to have your tax returns prepared at
CARES Elfers Center this year. AARP have just added 2 Fridays to the
schedule, April 3rd and April 10th. If you
don’t yet have an appointment, hurry to book. These extra
appointments will go fast.
And remember, tax returns are filed electronically at Elfers so there will be no problem if your appointment is on the last day – April 15th. Be sure to let us know if you are unable to keep a previously scheduled appointment as we have a waiting list for cancellations. Thank you for choosing to have your taxes prepared at Elfers! |
The CARES Elfers Center quilters group recently donated 10 lap quilts to Southern Pines Nursing Center residents. Delores Amaro and Betty Croft presented the quilts to Michele Forney, Nursing Center Administrator, and Karen Wilcox, Activities Director who were thrilled to get them. Elfers Quilters meet every Tuesday and Thursday at 8:30am and are joined by the machine quilters on Thursdays at 9:00am. Elfers is proud of the diligent and giving group who give freely of their time to work on our behalf and do so much for others. |
