Elfers School News Improved lighting proved not to be a deterrent to whoever stole the copper coils from two a/c air handlers on the upper floor. On Thursday September 18, 2008, thieves climbed the fire escape and entered the building by removing the fire door. The Sheriff’s Department was notified and the Forensics division was at the Center all morning. Apparently, we are one of several businesses in the area to be hit for copper coils. Renovation news: Bids are still being submitted for the renovation and work will probably not begin before the end of this year/beginning of next.
