            VIDEO MAGNIFIERS AVAILABLE AT EARLY VOTING SITES         

Pasco Supervisor of Elections Brian E. Corley, in conjunction with Lighthouse for the Visually Impaired & Blind, will be providing video magnifiers at all seven early voting sites beginning October 20^th through November 1^st. The service, intended for visually impaired voters that still possess some useful vision, is in addition to the audio ballot or magnifier sheet offered at the polls in the past.

Video magnifiers use a camera to magnify printed material and display it on a television screen or computer monitor. They have the ability to vary magnification levels and reading distances according to the needs of the voter. The magnifiers, on loan from Lighthouse, are generally useful to someone who has at least the ability to read the largest headlines in a newspaper.

Note that this enhancement will not be available on Election Day, only for Early Voting. So, beat the rush and make voting easier on your eyes – you will also avoid making mistakes in voting for the candidates and amendments of your choice. Voice of the Elders: VOTE !
